In 2013 there were only 3 members of my little family. Amy, Parker and me. We were all upstairs in the bedroom trying to get Parker to walk, when all of a sudden... he did! He took one little step and down he went. It wasn't much, but we made a huge deal about it. He turned around and smiled at us, clearly pleased with himself.

Even though it was outside of the norm for me, I sat down and wrote a song about it a little while later. It took me some time before I could get through it without crying, but here we are!
